Google voice search

Search with your voice!

You’re probably used to using Siri or Google Voice Search on your phone to just speak a query and have it answered, but what about your desktop PC?

When it comes to internet search engines, Google is easily the biggest, but Google isn’t content to rest on its laurels. Instead, the search giant is rolling out a voice activated search feature, along with an image search, making it even more user friendly. The new Voice Search will initially be available in Chrome, with English the only supported language at launch. It’s just launched an extension for its Chrome browser that enables always-on voice search. With the Google homepage open, just say “Ok Google”, and speak your query and it’ll search the web, and hopefully find what you’re looking for.

It’s free, though it’s still in beta at the moment, so it might have a few bugs.
