COMSOC, also known as The Computer Society, is the representative computer organization of Chiang Kai Shek College. The team is made out of different officers each with their respective job and designation contributing to the roster as a whole. Three to four officers are placed in each job: external relations, internal activities, school communication and the maintenance of this website.
For more than ten years, COMSOC has supported the students of the ITE program by providing several workshops and seminars on various new computer applications that will aide them and prepare them for the industry after graduation. To keep the competitive edge of CKSC students, COMSOC also holds various contests ranging from programming contests to quiz bees and designing to photography among many others.
Every year, COMSOC also showcases a variety of student projects in an expo dubbed "CompWare". Although it started simply to give focus on outstanding products of Chiang Kai Shek College's ITE program, it has since expanded and is now hosting exhibitors from a number of big companies such as Microsoft, Brother, Canon, Apple, etc.
Through their efforts, COMSOC is also exposing their alma mater, Chiang Kai Shek College, to the world and supporting its values and goals by helping the students of the ITE program make a mark in society through their physical, intellectual, moral and spiritual skills.
